1808 Lherbette Pattern Knapsack 1808 Lherbette Pattern Knapsack, made from 10oz canvas for long use, with black leather straps and adjustable shoulder straps. 1812 Triangular Bayonet Scabbard Bayonet scabbard, black with brass hook and ball at tip. Shako is all leather with cloth adjustable basket in side sweat band. Hand sewn, Plain without dressing, $300.00, Dressed as shown $500.00 The body of the Bell Crown is wool felt with leather reinforcements at the top, and V straps on the side with leather hat band, sweat band and bill. Rifleman's pouch with reproduction peace flask. Shoulder srtap is split at the ends to support the pouch and powder flask. The pouch is made from black upper leather with the two compartments divided by white buff leather and closed on a leather button. 1836 Cap Pouch, The first documented Cap Pouch. Made from black upper leather with wool insert to keep caps from falling out. Walet is copied from an original estamated to be 1840's or later. There are three document pockets on the inside. The outside is tooled with a patern as the original with a wrap-a-round strap. Same as the original, the strap loop is glued in place with a paper cover.
1840 Pattern NCO Sword Shoulder Strap Adjustable black leather shoulder strap with brass eagle breast plate and sword frog. Frog can be made to hold bayonet also upon request. 1841 Infantry cartridge box is made from black bridle leather, for .69 cal. ball ammunition. The box can be worn on the waist belt or from shoulder strap. 1855 box is made from black bridle leather, double flaps and implement pocket. Hand Made CW Brogans {Jefferson Bootie) Jefferson Booties, constructed with attention paid to original pattern, rand construction, with sewn on heals as found on originals. Soles are sewn on , the more desirable assembly than wood peged. The US goverment pain more money for sewn soles than peged soles. More contracts were given for sewn on soled shoes during the war. The shoes are made right and left, as streight last were no longer wanted by the military as of 1836. Coppied from Victory Bucket that went on auction in London. Copper riveted with copper trimed top. When ships left port, the buckets were filled with sand to help with slippery decks during battle. In case of fire, buckets were droped over board and filled with sea water. Any ship's bucket can be reproduced, to your reserch or mine. Holsters made to order, to match your weapon and style. 1777 British Light Inf. Cartridge Pouch The cartridge pouch is copied from the Don Troiani collection. The unusual feature of the pouch is the reversible wood block, allowing twice the normal number of cartridges to be carried. (Due to the fear of a break-down in discipline and muskets being fired indiscriminately, they were never issued).
